The delegation of Turkmenistan, consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences and the Oguzhan Engineering and Technology University, went to the innovation summit of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program in China, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The event will be held on November 22-25 in the Chinese city of Hangzhou and will be organized by the Asian Development Bank. Its goal is to exchange experience and knowledge, establish interaction for making innovative decisions in the field of the digital economy.
Participants are scheduled to receive speeches from industry leaders, panel discussions, as well as thematic sections for a more detailed discussion of issues of digitalization of the economy. A tour of the digital economy of the city of Hangzhou will permit summit delegates to become familiar with the implementation of innovative approaches in China.
The CAREC Summit is seen as a step towards an inclusive digital future. It is being held ahead of the opening of the second World Digital Trade Expo 2023 on November 23. Turkmenistan also plans to take part in this significant event.
