The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan and the Republican Public Association “Kazakhstan Tennis Federation” held a sports event with the participation of diplomats accredited in the city of Nur-Sultan, “Kazinform” MFA reports.
The tennis event was timed to coincide with World Health Day and dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust.At the beginning of the event, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Batyr Rejepov told the participants about the successful implementation of the sports policy of the President of Turkmenistan, which led to an increase in the activity of Turkmen athletes in the world sports movement, the country hosts major international competitions, including the world and Asian championships.
In 2021, Ashgabat is planning to hold a stage of the international tournament for the Davis Cup and the track cycling world championship.
Then, during the sporting event, the participants got acquainted with all the subtleties and features of tennis.
