The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation took part in the “Spring Charity Bazaar” event, which was held in Moscow on the territory of the “Lotte Plaza” hotel complex.
As reported on the Embassy’s website, the action was held on April 13 with the aim of providing assistance in the treatment and rehabilitation of disabled children with serious illnesses, including hearing impairment.
During the event, Embassy employees organized an exhibition and sale of textile industry products, carpets, handmade carpets, and works of folk arts and crafts of Turkmenistan. The diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan donated all proceeds from the sale to orphanages and boarding schools in the Moscow region and Krasnodar region.
The event, organized by the Association for Economic Cooperation with African Countries and the “Penetrating the Heart” charitable foundation, was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, the public, cultural and artistic figures from Russia and invited countries, the source notes.
