The EU Ambassador to Turkmenistan congratulated the citizens of the country on the upcoming New Year

EU Ambassador to Turkmenistan Beata Peksa congratulated the citizens of the country on the upcoming New Year 2024 and summed up the results of cooperation between the European Union and Turkmenistan in the past year. The congratulations were published by the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.

The diplomat noted the expansion of high-level interaction, including visits by EU special representatives and a meeting of the interparliamentary group in Ashgabat. In addition, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov took part in the October EU-Central Asia ministerial meeting in Luxembourg.

Turkmenistan expressed its readiness to host a similar meeting in 2024. These events, according to Beata Peksa, strengthen the partnership of the parties and open the way to further expansion of ties.

In her New Year's greetings, the ambassador expressed hope that 2024 will bring peace, prosperity and new achievements. She wished the citizens of Turkmenistan the fulfillment of all their plans and dreams.
