The presentation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s book Ýaşlar Watanyň daýanjy (“Youth is the support of the Motherland”) took place today at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater of Turkmenistan, bringing together representatives of the country’s creative intelligentsia, a Turkmenportal correspondent reports.
The participants of the celebration were addressed by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Myahrijemal Mammedova, who oversees the sphere of culture in the government, Hero of Turkmenistan, People's Writer Gozel Shagulyeva, People's Artist of the country Jemal Saparova, as well as heads and representatives of museums, libraries, other creative institutions, specialized educational institutions and the media.
The speakers noted the importance of the first work of the head of state in the patriotic education of the younger generation. “Having highly appreciated the role of youth in the life of Turkmen society, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov inspired them to new achievements in work and creativity, and strengthened them in the desire to increase the international authority of the country,” said the event participants.
The importance of the youth policy consistently pursued by the President of Turkmenistan, the purpose of which is to comprehensively ensure the active participation of youth in the economic, political and cultural life of the country, was especially emphasized.
Among the advantages of the book, representatives of the creative intelligentsia noted the accessibility of the presentation of the material, the lightness of the author’s style, and the illustrative nature of the publication. As part of the event, musical performances by art masters were organized.
