1.The first meeting of the heads of parliaments of the member countries of the Group of Friends of Neutrality “The Role of Parliamentary Cooperation in Strengthening Peace and Dialogue” was held in the Mejlis of Turkmenistan in a hybrid format.
Speakers of parliaments from around the world, as well as leaders and representatives of international and regional organizations took part in the multilateral meeting.
2.Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov received copies of credentials from the new Indian Ambassador to Ashgabat Madhumita Bhagat.The head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry congratulated the diplomat on her appointment to a responsible post and wished her success in her work.
At the meeting, the parties spoke in favor of intensifying cooperation in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres.
3.Turkmen-Georgian inter-Ministry of Foreign Affairs consultations were held in Ashgabat.The meeting was attended by the Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Georgia.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues regarding the current state and prospects of political and diplomatic cooperation, trade and economic partnership and cultural and humanitarian ties between countries.
The areas of transport, energy, trade, agriculture, tourism, as well as scientific and cultural exchanges were identified as promising areas of bilateral partnership.
4. Folklore dance and vocal groups of the cultural departments of the Balkan velayat took part in a competition held recently, organized by the Balkan regional department of culture and the velayat council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization. The winner of the competition was the dance group Misserian of the Culture Department of the Gyzylarbat etrap.
5.This year, in the village of Jebel in Balkan velayat, it is planned to successfully complete the construction of a new international airport capable of serving up to 100 passengers per hour.

10.Turkmenistan national team defender Vepa Jumayev gave his first interview to the “Vitebsk” press service after moving to the club from “Energetika-BGU”.Jumayev noted that he did not hesitate when he was offered to move to “Vitebsk”.
