1.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an Order according to which the State Concern “Turkmengas” donated 2 thousand tons of liquefied natural gas to the Kyrgyz Republic as friendly and fraternal assistance.

This decision was made in connection with the difficult situation in the energy sector of the Kyrgyz Republic. 53 railway tanks were prepared for the delivery of humanitarian cargo.

The shipment of LNG became a manifestation of friendly relations between the two countries and the continuation of the traditions of humanism of the Turkmen people.

2.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the head of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and all the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Noting that relations between Turkmenistan and Laos are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized Turkmenistan’s interest in expanding bilateral ties and expressed confidence in the further development of interstate cooperation in the interests of both peoples through joint efforts.

3.Turkmen students won a prize at the “UNITEN International Cultural Evening” event in Kuala Lumpur by performing the national dance Kushtdepdi, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia reports.

UNITEN International Culture Night is an annual cultural event organized by the Society of International Students.At this celebration of diversity and talent, students from different countries perform, presenting their national costumes, dances, songs, theater performances and other cultural elements.

4.Hero of Turkmenistan Oleg Kononenko, commander of the cosmonaut corps, wrote his name in the history of astronautics, becoming the record holder for the total stay in orbit.
