1.A presentation of the first book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, “Youth is the support of the Motherland”, was held in the building of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Beijing.
The presentation was attended by scientists from the China University of Nationalities, Secretary General of the Chinese Horse Industry Association and honorary horse breeder of Turkmenistan Yue Gaofeng and representatives of local media.
2. During his working visit to Japan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held talks with the country’s Minister of Digital Affairs Taro Kono. The parties discussed partnership issues in the field of digitalization of the economy and infrastructure, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and other advanced IT solutions.
3.Visitors to the Ashgabat Zoo were shown for the first time a six-month-old Central Asian leopard cub named Dursun.The baby was born in the summer, and all this time she was under the watchful supervision of her mother, a female leopard, Maya.
Together they were in a specially equipped enclosure.Zoo staff have created optimal conditions for growth and development - from food to cozy shelter.The baby already eats meat, but does not refuse mother's milk yet.
4.The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan announced the holding of a state Olympiad in foreign languages among students in educational institutions.The competition will be held in three rounds - February 4, February 18 and March 10 in various educational institutions of Turkmenistan.
The first round will be held directly in the educational centers of the country, the second - in universities in all velayats, and the third final stage will be held at the Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages in Ashgabat.
5. The Turkmen fashion house Gólli presented a collection of women's clothing at the Oriental fashion show in Paris. The collection was inspired by the history and culture of Turkmenistan. All the outfits in it are made of silk, using national Turkmen elements and exclusive patterns.
