The Turkmenistan freestyle wrestling team is preparing to perform at the 35th anniversary international tournament “Ivan Yarygin Cup-2024”, which will be held from January 25 to 29 in Krasnoyarsk.
Alp Arslan Begenjov (71 kg), Zyyamuhammet Saparov (125 kg) and Dovletmyrat Orazgylyjov (86 kg) will perform as part of the Turkmenistan national team. Previously, they completed a ten-day training camp in Dagestan.
The total prize fund for this year's competition will be 7 million rubles.

The Ivan Yarygin tournament was established in 1990. The first competitions were held in Abakan; since 1991, the tournament has been held in Krasnoyarsk.
