The match between Turkmenistan and Iran will be judged by a team of referees from Japan

FIFA announced the names of the referees who will work at the match of the Turkmenistan national team against the Iranian team in the 3rd round of the qualifying tournament for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in group “E”.

The match will be officiated by a panel of judges from Japan. The main referee will be 37 years old FIFA referee Yusuke Araki.

The match Iran - Turkmenistan will be held on Thursday, March 21. The teams will play at the “Azadi” stadium, the meeting will begin at 21:00 Ashgabat time.

Yusuke Araki will be assisted by his compatriots assistant FIFA referees Jun Mihara and Kota Watanabe. The reserve referee will be Hiroki Kasahara.
