The month of “Road traffic safety is the peace of our life” will be held in Turkmenistan from 1 to 30 September, 2018. Purly Agamyradov, Deputy Prime Minister overseeing science, education, healthcare, sports, youth policy and community issues gave a progress report to President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov on 17 August.
Within the framework of the campaign the awareness raising events were held. Trainings on road traffic safety and the first aid to victims of road traffic accidents were arranged for drivers and pedestrians, the state information agency TDH reports.
A similar month was held in September 2017.
