The National Leader of the Turkmen people proposed developing an ISESCO Strategy for the preservation of islamic heritage

Speaking at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation forum on the occasion of the declaration of Kazan as the cultural capital of the Islamic world, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov announced initiatives to strengthen humanitarian cooperation.

One of the key proposals was the creation of a long-term ISESCO Strategy for the preservation of the heritage of islamic countries.Turkmenistan proposes to begin developing a long-term ISESCO Strategy for the preservation and enrichment of the cultural and historical heritage of Islamic countries.

We believe it is appropriate to focus not only on study and research, but also on the active promotion of Islamic cultural heritage through the creation of literary and journalistic works, cinematographic works, virtual museums, galleries, and other widely accessible online platforms, said the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

In his speech, Hero-Arkadag also emphasised that Turkmenistan views cooperation with ISESCO as a priority of international humanitarian policy.
