Corn is one of the ancient agricultural crops of great importance in the production of food products and nutritious feed for livestock. On an industrial scale, alcohol, linoleum, paper and viscose are produced from corn, and due to the presence of special choleretic properties, it has found a place in medicine for the treatment of cholelithiasis and cholecystitis.
