A meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China, Parahat Durdyev, and the Executive Director of the Central Asia - China Secretariat, Wu Yingqing.
According to the IIC, the parties discussed the upcoming events of the Secretariat until the end of the year.In particular, participation in the third round of consultations in April in the city of Xi’an and the meeting of foreign ministers of the participating countries in the Central Asian-China format in the second half of the year were considered.
The Turkmen diplomat spoke about the main directions of Turkmenistan’s strategic partnership with China on a bilateral basis, as well as on a multilateral basis - within the framework of the Central Asia - China format, the source notes.
