The World Expo 2020 opened in Dubai today.The pavilion of Turkmenistan is located in the "Mobility" zone, according to the website www.cci.gov.tm.A sculptural composition of five Ahal-Teke horses is installed in front of the entrance to the pavilion.
The building of the pavilion itself has the shape of a sail, and the ribbed reefs on it symbolize the dunes.
Day 9 October will be dedicated to the Turkmen exposition. Visitors will get acquainted with videos dedicated to the national treasure: Ahal-Teke horses and Turkmen carpets. A touch sensitive hologram will show the growth of cotton and wheat.
The theme of the Turkmen national pavilion is “Turkmenistan - Homeland of Peace and Trust”.
Today the President of Turkmenistan sent a welcoming message to the organizers of EXPO-2020.
It is expected that the participation of Turkmenistan in "EXPO-2020" will bring cooperation between our country and the UAE to a new level.
Recall that EXPO 2020 was postponed for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This time 192 countries and a number of international organizations are participating in the large-scale event.
The exhibition will run for 182 days.
