Information about the infrastructure of the Turkmenbashy international seaport will be included in the digital register of transport and logistics centers for the “North-South” international transport corridor.
As the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports, the decision to create the register was made at the end of January during the second meeting of the CIS transport business dialogue.
The infrastructure register will be publicly available on the website of the Coordination Transport Meeting of the Commonwealth Member States. The information contained in the register will make it possible to more effectively create logistics routes and supply chains along the “North-South” corridor, in which Turkmenistan plays an increasing role.
Of the three main routes highlighted in the international transport corridor development strategy, two pass through Turkmenistan. This is the Trans-Caspian - through the Caspian Sea by sea and river transport from the ports of
