President Serdar Berdimuhamedov proposed to hold the Youth Forum of the countries of Central Asia and China in the Turkmen city of Mary, speaking today at the first summit of the leaders of these states in the Chinese city of Xi'an, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The head of state noted that the peoples of Central Asia and China, who gave the world outstanding scientists, inventors, thinkers, are the heirs and keepers of the richest cultural and scientific traditions.
According to the President of Turkmenistan, it is necessary to encourage this interest and actively promote broad cultural and scientific exchanges on a regular basis.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov is visiting the People's Republic of China for the second time this year. In January, he paid a state visit to this country, during which 15 cooperation documents were signed. And the day before, he held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, as a result of which another package of documents on cooperation was signed.
