Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General, Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) Kakha Imnadze, the Watan news program of the Turkmen television reported.
Congratulating the head of UNRCCA on his appointment to a responsible post, the head of state noted that strengthening and expanding the multifaceted partnership with the UN is one of the key vectors of Turkmenistan's foreign policy.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the important activities of the UNRCCA would be successfully continued in the future.
Recall that UNRCCA was established in Ashgabat in accordance with the decision of the UN General Assembly with the support of neighboring states and members of the Security Council.
As Kakha Imnadze assured, for his part, he will do his best to strengthen the established fruitful cooperation, based on solid experience of joint work and having great potential.
