The private sector is helping to increase milk production in Turkmenistan

The Gözel Türkmen economic society is actively increasing milk production on its farm in the Kaahka etrap of the Ahal velayat of Turkmenistan. At the moment, there are 157 heads of Holstein breeding cows, 90 of which are dairy cows. Last year, the farm produced 146 tons of high-quality milk, writes the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.

The construction of a modern farm was made possible thanks to government support for the development of entrepreneurship and agriculture as part of the economic strategy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The farm has introduced advanced technologies for keeping and feeding animals. To provide livestock with feed, the business company was allocated 200 hectares of land for long-term use.

In the near future, it is planned to launch a milk processing workshop on the farm and begin producing various dairy products. This will be possible thanks to further government support, which will be aimed at modernizing equipment and equipping the workshop.
