The sale of tickets has started for the match of the 1st round of the AFC Champions League 2023/24 between the Turkmen “Ahal” and the Saudi “Al Feiha”.
Tickets for the match “Ahal” “Al-Feiha” are sold daily at the box office of the Ashgabat stadium from 8:00 to 21:00. Cost 30 manats.
Let us remind that the champion of Turkmenistan “Ahal” will begin its performance in the group stage of the 2023/24 AFC Champions League with a home match against the winner of the Saudi Arabian Cup “Al-Feiha”.
This meeting will be on Tuesday, September 19, at the Ashgabat stadium - starting at 21:00 local time.
Let us note that according to the results of the draw, “Ahal” ended up in group “A”. Turkmen football players will play against the clubs “Pakhtakor” (Uzbekistan), “Al-Feiha” (Saudi Arabia) and “Al-Ain” (UAE).
The group round matches of Asia's main club tournament will be held from September 18 to December 13.All teams will play three matches at home and away.
The 1/8 finals, the matches of which will be held in February-April 2024, will include the group winners and the top 3 teams among the runners-up in both the Western and Eastern zones.
The final will be in a two-legged format: May 11 and 18, 2024.
The current AFC Champions League will be the first to be held according to the “autumn-spring” system, and the last in which 40 clubs will take part. Starting next season, the tournament will be reduced to 24 teams.
The winner of the 2023/24 AFC Champions League will take part in the 2024 Club World Cup and also qualify for the next tournament.
Last season, the Japanese “Urawa Red Diamonds” celebrated victory in the AFC Champions League, defeating the “Al-Hilal” team from Saudi Arabia in the final - 2:1.
