The sculpture of Central Asian Shepherd to be built in Ashgabat in the run-up to the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality (photos)

On 6 November President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov inspected the construction-in-progress of major Ashgabat sites. The head of state was accompanied by the Ashgabat khyakim Shamukhammet Dyrdylyev, deputy Chairperson of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Dovran Khydayberdiev and a representative of France-based company Bouygues.

The state information agency TDH reported that the designs of the construction projects scheduled to be commissioned in 2020 in honour of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality were demonstrated to Berdymukhammedov, a sculpture of the Turkmen Central Asian Shepherd among them.

The President was also briefed that sixteen 12-storey apartment building will be built along Magtymguly avenue, between Taslam and Tehran streets.
