The Seydi Oil Refinery in Turkmenistan processed almost 490 thousand tons of raw materials in a year

The Seydi oil refinery in the Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan completed 2023 with high performance, having processed 489.6 thousand tons of raw materials. This is 10.7% more than planned. During the year, the enterprise produced 413 thousand tons of finished products, fulfilling the annual plan by 100.2%, writes the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

Such good results were made possible thanks to the modernization of production and the well-coordinated work of the plant team. The company is actively introducing modern equipment, expanding the range and improving the quality of its products.

The main share in the production structure is occupied by gasoline (230 thousand tons) and diesel fuel (123.6 thousand tons). In addition, at the end of the year, the plant produced 30.6 thousand tons of heavy vacuum gas oil, 5.3 thousand tons of fuel oil and 22.6 thousand tons of road bitumen.

The modernization also opens up new export opportunities for the plant's products. Today it is supplied to Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Georgia and the UAE. Exports strengthen the economy of Turkmenistan and contribute to the development of international cooperation.
