The unique Red Rocks amphitheater was cleared of 22 kilograms of chewing gum

A group of volunteers in the US state of Colorado took on the difficult task of cleaning the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater from deposits of chewing gum left by careless visitors. 22 kilograms of sticky “garbage” have accumulated under the seats of the amphitheater, reports daily.afisha.ru with reference to Fox31.

In addition to gum, the list of prohibited items at Red Rocks includes umbrellas, megaphones and alcohol.

The cleanup of the amphitheater was carried out by the non-profit organization Friends of Red Rocks, which aims to “preserve the magic” of this place.

Over the past year, Friends of Red Rocks removed 186 kilograms of general trash and 92 kilograms of recyclables from the amphitheater grounds.
