The world’s first space tourist intends to visit space again

Dennis Tito, the world’s first space tourist, together with his wife intends to make a weeklong fly around the Moon and has already booked two seats on the Starship’s board, reports RIA Novosti with the reference to the information form SpaceX company.

The Press-service of SpaceX informed the following: “Denis and Akiko Tito became the first two crew members announced for the second commercial flight of Starship around the Moon”.

Dennis Tito became the world's very first space tourist in 2001, having flown to the International Space Station on the Russian “Soyuz TMA-32” spacecraft. 82-year-old Tito claims that since then he has dreamed of visiting space again.

No one knows yet the precise dates of the flight to the Moon, but, presumably, it will take place almost after the first flight of Starship under the Polaris program and the first commercial start dearMoon, which is planned for 2023.

The ship with space tourists will fly around the moon at a distance of 200 kilometers from its surface, after which it will return to Earth.
