Thursday Trades in Turkmen Commodity Exchange: Petroleum and Textile Products

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Thursday trades registered 13 deals for the procurement of hydrotreated diesel fuel, oil road bitumen, plain dyed jacquard products and cotton yarn. The deals amounted to more than $4.35 million and 37.81 million manats.

The company from the United Arab Emirates procured 4,400 thousand tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel for a total of more than $4.28 million. The price of each ton of this product amounted to $974.75, according to the SCRMET.

The Kyrgyz business purchased 11.5 thousand kilograms of plain dyed jacquard products for foreign currency during the trades.

The Turkish business representatives purchased 176 thousand kilograms of different types of Turkmen cotton yarn for 7.81 million manats.

For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased 15 thousand tons of oil road bitumen for a total of 30 million manats.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $22.37 million.
