Trade between Turkmenistan and Belarus for 2021 amounted to 20,8 million USD

The trade between Turkmenistan and Belarus amounted to 20,8 million USD in 2021. The Ambassador of Belarus to Turkmenistan Vyacheslav Beskosty told about this during the interview for the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.

The diplomat cited data from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus, in accordance with which Belarusian exports amounted - 13,7 million USD, imports 7,1 million USD.

Turkmenistan exports textiles, cotton yarn, and agricultural products to Belarus.

Turkmenistan supplied tomatoes for more than 1 million USD to Belarus in just four months in 2022.

A wide range assortment of Belarusian food products and packaging materials are presented on the Turkmen market.

Turkmenistan and Belarus will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries in January 2023. The contractual and legal base of cooperation developed over the years of independence consists of over 100 agreements.
