In 2021/2022 academic year the number of students from Turkmenistan in Belarus amounted to more than 6.6 thousand of people. Vyacheslav Beskosty, the Ambassador of Belarus to Turkmenistan told it in the interview for the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
Turkmen students compose more than 20% of the total quantity of foreign students in higher educational institutions of Belarus.
As per the words of the diplomat, Belarus is ready to provide Turkmenistan with 30 budgetary scholarships for the preparation of engineering and technical personnel annually.
We remind that in 2020/2021 academic year 8.738 students from Turkmenistan studied in higher educational institutions in Belarus.
