Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan exceeded 360 million dollars in January-May 2023

From January to May 2023, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan increased by 3,5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 363,5 million US dollars. This was reported by the newspaper “Yangi Uzbekiston” with reference to the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that in May, the volume of Uzbekistan's foreign trade with the countries of Central Asia increased by 8,5% and reached 3 billion USD, which is 11,6% of the total foreign trade.
