Trades at Turkmen Exchange For November First Week: $10.3 Million

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week amounted to more than $10.3 million, the country’s official media reported on Monday.

For foreign currency, the businesses from the United Kingdom, Turkey and other countries procured aviation kerosene of Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries. In addition, the Qatari businesses bought portland sement.

For the domestic market, the local businesses purchased polypropylene of Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern, the high-density polyethylene of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, and short fiber cotton. The total amount of the transactions exceeded 18.23 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 9 transactions last week.
