Turkic State Leaders to Participate In Organization's Summit In Astana

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan announced that the 10th-anniversary summit of the Organisation of Turkic States will take place on November 3 in Astana, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Leaders from Turkic States members, including Azerbaijan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan, will attend the summit.Turkmenistan and Hungary, which are observer countries, will also participate.

The event's primary objective is strengthening cooperation among Turkic-speaking countries and fostering regional peace and stability based on shared historical and cultural heritage and a common language.

During the extraordinary meeting of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) Summit held in Ankara earlier this year, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, expressed his optimism that Turkmenistan would soon attain full membership in the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS).
