Turkmen Ambassador Presents Credentials to U.S. President Donald Trump

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United States Esen Aydogdyyev presented his credentials to U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on May 21.

During the ceremony, warm greetings and best wishes were exchanged on behalf of the leaders of Turkmenistan and the United States, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United States.

The sides highlighted the importance of the 34-year relationship between Turkmenistan and the United States and reaffirmed their interest in further developing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

On May 19, Ambassador Esen Aydogdyyev also met with representatives of the U.S. Congress to exchange views on the current state and future prospects of Turkmen-U.S. cooperation.
