Turkmen Businesses Can Now Sell on Amazon

The sellers from Turkmenistan can now trade on Amazon, a major US e-commerce platform. The company has updated the list of countries whose sellers can register for selling on the platform.

Besides Turkmenistan, other Central Asian states Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are also included in the updated list.

To sell goods on the website, users must be residents of the indicated countries, have a valid phone number and an internationally chargeable payment card.

Established in 1994 by Jeff Bezos, Amazon is the world's largest e-commerce and public cloud computing platform by revenue and market capitalization. In 2021′s first quarter, Amazon revenue exceeded $108.5 billion.
