Entrepreneur Govher Jumayeva, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), produces sesame oil under the Nurber brand from sesame seeds grown on 5 hectares of land allocated to her by the state in Lebap province.
The enterprise, located in Turkmenabat town, produces more than 5 tons of sesame oil annually, supplying it to the country's retail outlets, the country’s Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.
Sesame seeds grown in fields are used directly for oil production. Additional high quality sesame seeds are also purchased from local farmers.
The composition of sesame oil is rich in various healthy substances and is particularly well digested in the stomach.
