Turkmen Company Peragat Exports Its Food Products

Turkmenistan-based company Peragat is concluding contracts for the export of its Nesil branded compotes and pickled products to Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, the Ashgabat-based Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.

The company produces compotes from quince, plum, apricot, pomegranate, peach, strawberry, cherry, wild rose, blackberry and feijoa, as well as pickled tomatoes, cucumbers and adjika.

Finished products are preserved in glass jars of different sizes. The enterprise has the capacity to produce 1 million jars of food products per year. Vegetables and fruits are purchased from local farmers and processed using modern technologies.

Since 2018, the Peragat company, located in the Bagtyyarlyk district of the city of Ashgabat, has been producing compotes and pickled products.
