Turkmen Confectionery Manufacturer Launches New Chocolate Line

Entrepreneur Begmyrat Ishanov’s Oguzhan Economic Society has recently launched the production of new types of chocolate products under the trademarks of Ýyldyz and Aýazbaba.

According to the Rysgal newspaper’s Monday issue, the modern machinery installed at the enterprise is designed to produce 7 tons of chocolate daily. The company’s product range includes about 35 different types of chocolate products.

In particular, Oguzhan produces chocolate products under the Lezzet and Altyn Halka trademarks, as well as Aýly Agşam chocolates with coconut flavor, Aýlar and Erteki with walnut flavor, Çopantelpek and Buratino with vanilla flavor, Älemgoşar and Jaňjagaz with orange flavor, Läle and Taýçanak with strawberry flavor and Gölejik chocolate bars with milk, Täç and Aýazbaba with nut and Şazada with cherry flavor.

In recent years, Turkmenistan has implemented large-scale projects to increase the production of confectionery products. Over the past years, the import of confectionery products into the country has almost halved because of the efforts of domestic businesses to establish import-substituting production.
