Turkmen Delegation Holds Series of Bilateral Meetings With U.S. Partners

Turkmen officials held a series of bilateral meetings with American partners as part of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s visit to the United States.

The discussions focused on developing political-diplomatic and trade-economic cooperation, according to Friday’s broadcast of Watan Habarlary.

The talks also explored opportunities to expand collaboration in finance, economy, construction, industry, energy, and the activities of chambers of commerce and industry. The Turkmen side emphasized the priority of strengthening the national economy, developing modern industrial infrastructure, and adopting advanced technologies and international experience.

Both sides expressed confidence in the continued development of bilateral cooperation at the conclusion of the meetings.

On the same day, Washington hosted the business forum Turkmen-American Business Cooperation: New Opportunities and Partnership Development Prospects.
