Turkmen Food Producer Expands Product Range With New Sauces

Owadan Ülke Economic Society, the producer of food products in Turkmenistan, has expanded its product range with new Nur branded garlic, mushroom and cheese sauces.

In an interview with Business Turkmenistan at the Exhibition dedicated to Turkmenistan’s 30th independence anniversary, the company representative said the new products will be produced in glass jars of 400 grams.

The company also launched the production of mayonnaise under the Hazyna trademark.

The new mayonnaise consists of cottonseed oil instead of the sunflower oil, which is tradionally used in such products. Hazyna brand includes mayonnaise of three types of fat content: 20%, 40% and 55%. The new products’ ingredient includes mainly local materials.

The company specializes in the production of canned vegetables and fruits, mayonnaise, ketchup and jams at its plant in the Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat.

The company produces 8 tons of food products per day. It is also currently in talks to export its products to Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.

Owadan Ülke’s plant was commissioned in 2016 and the company is one of the manufacturers of import-substituting products in the food sector of the country.
