Turkmen judoists announced for the Grand Slam tournament in Tel Aviv

Turkmen sportsmen have registered for the Grand Slam judo tournament in Tel Aviv (Israel), according to the website of the International Judo Federation (IJF).

13 athletes from Turkmenistan, along with teams from 56 countries (229 judokas and 182 judokas), will compete for medals and ranking points on their way to the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The men's team of Turkmenistan includes: Aibek Omirov, Hakberdy Jumayev (weight category up to 60 kg), Serdar Rahimov, Hekim Agamammedov (up to 66 kg), Parahat Nazarov, Begench Soltanov (up to 73 kg), Shatlyk Seyitmuradov, Mamedali Achyldiyev (up to 81 kg), Baymyrat Madzhanov (up to 100 kg).

The women's team will be represented by: Aksoltan Hojageldyeva, Kurbanay Kurbanova (up to 48 kg), Maysa Pardayeva (up to 57 kg) and Zulhumar Dashkinova (up to 63 kg).

The tournament in Tel Aviv will be held from February 16 to 18, 2023.
