Turkmen judoka won a silver medal at the European Open Championship in Latvia

Turkmen judoka Serdar Rahimov won a silver medal in the weight category up to 66 kg at the European Open Championship, which was held these days in Riga (Latvia).

In the final fight, Rahimov lost to the Briton Finley Allan. The bronze medalists were the representative of France, William Sysik, and the Briton, Michael Fry.

The Turkmenistan team at the 2024 European Open Championship in Riga was represented by 8 judokas (5 men and 3 women).
