Turkmen President Appoints New Heads of Country's Oil, Gas Industry

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov appointed new heads of the country's oil and gas industry at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Saturday in the digital format, the official Turkmen media reported.

Ashyrguly Begliyev was relieved of his post as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers due to his transfer to another job, and Batyr Amanov was appointed to the position, while Maksat Babayev was appointed Chairman of the Türkmengaz State Concern.

President Berdimuhamedov appointed Begliyev as Adviser to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues.

The meeting also discussed several draft documents.
