Turkmen President Expresses Condolences to Xi Jinping After China Earthquake

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent deep condolences to President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping regarding the earthquake in Gansu and Qinghai provinces, which caused numerous human casualties and injuries, the official Turkmen media reported on Tuesday.

In this challenging moment, the head of state, on behalf of the people, the Government of Turkmenistan, and himself, conveyed words of empathy and support to all the relatives and friends of the victims.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, also sent deep condolences to the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, regarding the earthquake in Gansu and Qinghai provinces, which caused numerous human casualties and injuries.

A magnitude 6.2 earthquake that struck Gansu and Qinghai provinces on Monday night killed 127 people, Xinhua news agency reported on Wednesday.
