Turkmen schoolboy proposed his technology for processing food waste

Agabek Atajanov, a student of the 11th grade of the 27th secondary school of the Charjev etrap of the Lebap velayat, through a scientific experiment, developed his own technology for processing kitchen food waste to enrich fertilizers.

In his opinion, this is a cheap and environmentally friendly way to grow plants, reports Jeyhun.news.

A high school student talks about his experiment:

- To neutralize organic manure, we constantly sprayed it with solutions prepared from the remains of onions, garlic, hot red peppers and yuzarlik (harmala). We tested the prepared fertilizer in practice to find out its effect.

We planted the same plants in fertilized and unfertilized soil to see the difference. The growth and yield of tomatoes, bell peppers, beans and barley planted in soil with our fertilizers was significant.
