Turkmen shipyard successfully passed audit by Korean company

The Balkan Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant successfully completed an audit conducted by a Korean company. This was another step towards obtaining international ISO quality certificates for the plant.

As reported on the website tmrl.gov.tm, the plant plans to receive three certificates: ISO 9001: 2015 will confirm the quality management system; ISO 45001:2018 guarantees a health and safety management system; ISO 14001:2015 - confirms the environmental management system.

The successful completion of the audit is another step towards the integration of the Balkan plant into the international shipbuilding community and confirmation of the high quality of the services provided, the source notes.
