Turkmen students won 9 prize medals at the international mathematics competition

At the 28th International Mathematics Competition (IMC-2021), Turkmen students won 9 medals of all three merits, reports "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age".

The competition, whose official language of IMC-2021 was English, was organized by University College London (UK) and the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG).

The gold medal of the competition was awarded to Mr. Gurt Davletov, a student of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan (SEIT).

Three silver medals were obtained by students of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly (TSU): Mr. Murat Sapayev, Mr. Resul Shamukhammedov, and Mr. Akmukhammet Akmuradov.

Ms. Oguldondi Gulyeva, a student of the International University of Humanities and Development (IUHD), was rewarded with the competition’s silver medal as well.

Additionally, the Turkmen students have won four bronze medals as well. Two of them belong to students of the IUHD Ms. Aigul Begendzheva and Mr. Mukhammetnur Bagbekov, and the other two to Mr. Merdangeldi Bayramov (TSU) and Ms. Oguljan Chariyeva (SEIT).

The winners of the competition were awarded the corresponding degree diplomas.

This year, the annual Mathematics Competition brought together about 600 students of 113 higher educational institutions from 100 countries of the world, including Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia,

Poland, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Indonesia, Greece, France, and others.
