Turkmenbashi Refinery Commences Production of New Diesel Fuel, Motor Oil

Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery Complex has initiated the production of Hydro Plus diesel fuel and SAE 50 API CF-4 motor oil.

Batyr Amanov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, overseeing the country's fuel and energy complex, briefed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the ongoing work during a regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, as reported by official Turkmen media.

Hydro Plus diesel fuel is tailored for use in jet diesel engines at extremely low temperatures, while the SAE 50 API CF-4 motor oil is designed for powerful diesel engines in automobiles and installations operating under high-temperature conditions.

Acknowledging the report, the Head of State emphasized that the new products would expand the range of petroleum products produced in the country, providing several instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.

Established in 1943, the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries produces various petroleum products from incoming crude oil, including automotive gasoline, aviation and technical kerosene, diesel fuel, fuel oil, motor oils, polypropylene, furnace fuel, coke, liquefied gas, construction and road bitumen, and other petrochemicals.
