American company is well-known in Turkmen oil and gas market.It had the commissioning of road bitumen production unit and reconstruction of reforming unit for production of high octane gasoline at Seidy Refinery on its account.
New technology train licensed by Foster Wheller Company is represented by the complex of two units retarded carbonization and de-asphalting of tar. Its main designation is to process heavy oil residuals.
Retarded carbonization units is one of the most important technology complexes. Its project capacity is 900 thousand tons per year. Besides total production of petroleum coke, it will produce export oriented liquefied gas.
Coke gasoline made by retarded carbonization unit is the component for production of A-80 gasoline or also can be used as raw material for high octane gasoline production. Ligh coke gasoil is the material for production of Euro 5 fuel. Heavy coke gasoil will be the material for catalyst cracking installation operating at the refinery.
The opportunity of using new equipment for commissioning of additional system for production of acicular coke is stipulated in the future.
Tar de-asphalting installation with 500 thousand tons output will produce the product used in making of high-viscosity oils and as the material for existing catalytic cracking installations.
Thus, new installation will considerably increase the efficiency of the production, having increased the volume of oil processing for 10 20 percent and provided the production of light oil items with high added value.
Use of innovative, ecologically friendly technologies is one of the specifications of the tender.The projects stipulates automatic mechanisms of opening and closing of upper and lower hatches of coke chambers excluding the manpower as well as stabilization of the gasoline, optimization of heat exchange, petroleum and heavy coking gas treatment and drying units.
The coke warehouse with crushing units, transport and loading terminals will be built at the Refinery.The project also stipulates the provision of existing laboratory with modern equipment.
