Turkmenistan Airlines Purchases Two Boeing 777-300 Aircrafts

Turkmenistan Airlines, the flag carrier of Turkmenistan, has purchased two Boeing 777-300(ER) aircrafts, the airline news provider CH-Aviation reported on Tuesday.

These aircrafts will be the first in the fleet of Turkmenistan Airlines, although the carrier operates four Boeing 777-200 (LR) airplanes.

Turkmenistan Airlines already possesses various Boeing models, such as four 737-700s, eight 737-800s, and four 757-200s. Additionally, they utilize two Airbus 330-200 planes and three Il-76TD cargo aircraft.

In June this year, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree authorizing the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency to sign a contract with Boeing (USA) for the purchase of four aircrafts of Boeing 737-8 model, as well as trilateral contracts with the TMHCC-AIR 1 LLC and TMHCC-AIR 2 LLC (USA) for the purchase of two Boeing 777-367ER aircrafts.
