Turkmenistan and Belarus discussed cooperation in the sports field

Chairman of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan Gulmyrat Agamyradov and Ambassador of Belarus to Turkmenistan Vyacheslav Beskosty held a meeting in Ashgabat on Monday. This is reported by the official website of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus.

During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the sports field, as well as the participation of athletes from Turkmenistan in the II Games of the CIS countries, which will be held from August 4 to 14, 2023 in Belarus.

Belarus is fully prepared to organize these competitions, there is all the necessary sports and related infrastructure.Games will be held in all regions of the country.The competitions will be hosted by Minsk, Borisov, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Zhlobin, Mogilev, Molodechno, Orsha and Soligorsk.

The opening and closing ceremonies of the games are planned to be held at the “Minsk-Arena” sports and entertainment complex.

The competition program includes basketball, handball, beach volleyball, beach soccer, mini-football, field hockey.

Kazan (Tatarstan, Russian Federation) hosted a large-scale forum for the first time in September 2021.
