Turkmenistan and Finland are establishing transport and logistics cooperation

OJSC "Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan" and the Finnish company Nurminen Logistics signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of international transport within the framework of the investment forum "Turkmenistan - Investment and Development" in London, reports the MIC.

Nurminen Logistics specializes in rail transport between Asia and Scandinavia using modern and environmentally friendly containers. The company has over 130 years of experience in the logistics industry and is constantly developing its capabilities and solutions.

The transport and logistics center of Turkmenistan was created in 2018 in order to develop the country’s transport and logistics system, increase the volume of transit cargo, as well as develop acceptable logistics solutions for transit and export-import cargo from sender to recipient.

Establishing interaction between the two companies is an important step in the development of transport links and will make it possible to use the potential of railway transit through Turkmenistan, which is part of important transport corridors.
