Turkmenistan and Finland Sign Memorandum of Cooperation in International Transport

Open Joint Stock Company of Transport and Logistics Centre of Turkmenistan and the Finnish company Nurminen Logistiks signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in international transportation. The document was signed on Thursday, the second day of the investment forum "Turkmenistan-Investment and Development" in London, UK.

The forum included several meetings with the participation of heads of ministries and departments and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the official Turkmen media reports. During these meetings, representatives of prominent British companies expressed significant interest in engaging in business activities within the Turkmen market.

The head of the Asian Development Bank also spoke at the forum, highlighting that the bank is financing Turkmenistan's Ministry of Energy's ring power system project. Additionally, the bank is developing a project to construct a medical school that will train specialists for Turkmenistan's Ministry of Health and Medical Industry.

The International Investment Forum "Turkmenistan - Investment and Development" was held in London on November 22-23 this year. About 100 representatives of Turkmenistan and more than 150 representatives of 74 foreign companies attended the event.
